About Calendar alarm & Privacy Policy
1. Application Purpose Calendar alarm is a smart scheduler application designed to help users manage their daily tasks and schedules efficiently. The app provides a seamless synchronization feature with Google Calendar to ensure users can access their events across devices.
2. Google API Scopes Usage To provide the synchronization features, Calendar alarm requests the following Google Calendar API permissions:
.../auth/calendar.readonly: Used to retrieve a list of your Google Calendars so you can select which calendar to sync with the app..../auth/calendar.events: Used to import existing events from your Google Calendar into the app and to export schedules created within the app back to your Google Calendar.
3. Permissions Used in the App To ensure full functionality, the App requests the following permissions:
Google Calendar Access: Used to sync, import, and export events between the App and your Google account.
Notifications: Used to send alerts for your specified scheduled events.
App Tracking Transparency (ATT): Used to request your permission for personalized advertising via Google AdMob.
4. Data Privacy & Safety
Local Processing & Storage: All calendar data, schedules, and user-defined data are processed and stored locally on your device. We (the developer) do not have access to your personal schedules or event details.
No Third-Party Sharing: We do not collect, store, or transmit your personal calendar data to our own servers or any third parties.
Third-Party Services: We use Google AdMob for advertisements and Google Calendar API for synchronization. Their use of your data is governed by Google’s Privacy & Terms.
